HES Solar Panel Grant
Closed
The Home Energy Scotland solar panel grant stopped accepting new applications in June 2024. This grant is no longer available for new applicants.
HES Heat Pump Grant
Active
The Home Energy Scotland heat pump grant of £7,500 plus an optional interest-free loan is currently active. Available for eligible homeowners across Scotland.
0% VAT on Renewables
Active until March 2027
0% VAT applies to the supply and installation of solar panels, battery storage, heat pumps, and related equipment. This is a significant saving on all installations.
ECO4 Scheme
Extended to December 2026
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) has been extended to December 2026. This provides funding for energy efficiency improvements for eligible households.
Smart Export Guarantee
Active
Get paid for surplus solar electricity you export to the grid. Available to all MCS-certified solar installations. Rates vary by energy supplier.
Commercial Capital Allowances
